Job Title : Regional Business Controller - East Coast Operations
Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-Site)
Department : Finance
Reports To : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Work Type : Full-Time
Travel : Up to 25% (Domestic and International)
Direct Reports : None (initially, with potential to grow)
Compensation : $130,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE)
Relocation : Relocation Assistance will be provided
Bonus : Annual performance-based bonus
Role Overview :
MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a dynamic Regional Business Controller to oversee financial operations for our East Coast post-merger business units .
This is a high-impact role where you will serve as a key partner to the CFO and regional leadership , driving profitability, strengthening financial systems, and supporting our mission to grow into a $500M+ global industrial services leader .
You will play a pivotal role in :
Aligning business performance with strategic goalsEnsuring accuracy across P&L and Balance Sheet reportingDeveloping actionable insights to guide decision-makingThis opportunity is ideal for a proactive financial leader who thrives in private equity-backed environments and has industry-aligned experience in Marine, Power Generation, Defense, or Industrial services .
Key Responsibilities :
Own financial oversight of East Coast operations, ensuring accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, and compliance with company and private equity requirementsDrive forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to deliver clear insights on business performance and opportunitiesPartner with leadership to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations to improve margins and operational efficiencyDevelop and implement financial strategies that support growth, cost control, and scalability post-mergerAnalyze KPIs and performance metrics to guide investment decisions, operational improvements, and resource allocationCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and corporate finance teams to align financial outcomes with business objectivesProvide leadership-level support to the CFO, including preparation of board and investor presentationsRequired Qualifications :
10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience with direct business controller or FP&A responsibilitiesMandatory : Proven experience in a private equity-backed organization or in a high-growth startup environmentBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA or professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) preferredProven track record of improving bottom-line results through margin optimization, cost control, and process improvementsStrong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills; ability to translate data into strategic recommendationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with board and C-suite exposureComfortable thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, post-merger environmentsDesired Skills :
Industry Experience : Marine, Power Generation, Defense, or Industrial / Manufacturing ServicesExperience leading finance in multi-entity, multi-location organizationsPrevious board reporting and investor relations exposureHands-on systems experience with ERP and BI tools (Infor, Dynamics, Power BI, or equivalent)Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with the ability to create structure in dynamic, evolving environmentsDemonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and build trust with operations and leadership teamsWhy Join MSHS Pacific Power Group?
