Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking full-time Infectious Disease physicians to join their growing team!
Responsibilities :
- 100% infectious disease, IP / OP Consults; Travel Clinic; HIV Care
- Collegial Team with APRN Support
- Conduct comprehensive pre-travel consultations for patients, assessing health history, immunization records, and travel itineraries.
- Develop personalized recommendations for immunizations, medications (including malaria prophylaxis), and other preventive measures.
- Provide education and counseling on travel-related risks and healthy travel practices.
- Call 1 : 6 weeks
- Teaching opportunities available (if wanted)
- Coverage includes rounding at four local hospitals in Nashua and Manchester, NH
- Diagnose and treat infectious diseases, both common and exotic, acquired during travel or within the community.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest infectious disease threats, global health trends, and travel advisories.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications :
MD degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.BC / BE requiredFellowship in Travel Medicine preferred.New grads encouraged to applyExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.Strong cultural competency and ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.Proficiency with EPIC EMRBenefits :
