Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist
POSITION TYPE : Physical Therapist
SETTING : Outpatient Orthopedics
LOCATION : Simi Valley, CA; Full-Time

The Physical Therapist is responsible for supervising, assisting with the planning and coordinating of clinic operations, and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This includes overseeing therapy aides, PTAs, and students (as applicable), while serving as a liaison between patients, physicians, and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor delivery of patient services, including regular review of patient activity to anticipate and prepare for changes related to patient load, staffing, regulations, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, Therapy Manager, and Director to recruit, supervise, and direct staff, ensuring efficient clinic operations and excellent patient service.
- Provide input for staff performance reviews.
- Maintain clinic physical space and equipment.
- Assist with developing annual budget items to ensure proper provision of care.
- Attend routine Therapy meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Communicate consistently with leadership, administration, and medical staff to ensure a quality patient experience.
- Perform and document initial exams, treatment plans, and re-evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and referring providers to oversee treatment progress.
- Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs.
- Document treatment, progress, and patient response accurately and in a timely manner.
