Are you passionate about creating safe, engaging spaces for students to learn, play, and grow?

We're seeking a Part-Time After School Program Leader to support both elementary and middle school students in AUSD through structured activities, enrichment, and mentorship.

What You'll Do :

Lead and supervise daily after-school programming for students in grades K-8

Facilitate enrichment experiences in areas like art, music, STEM, and recreation

Support students with homework, group projects, and social-emotional learning

Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and uphold behavior expectations

Collaborate with site staff and program coordinators to ensure smooth operations

Requirements :

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or equivalent required.

48 college units OR a passing grade on the district administered ESSA exam

1 year of experience working with children or youth in a group setting (preferred)

Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills

Enthusiasm for youth development and enrichment education

Must be able to provide negative TB clearance as well as pass a live scan background check through the DOJ.

Schedule :

Part-time, Monday-Friday

Elementary Schools : Approx. 2 : 00-6 : 00 PM (Tuesdays 12 : 30-6 : 00 PM)

Middle Schools : Approx. 3 : 00-6 : 00 PM (Tuesdays 1 : 00-6 : 00 PM)

Occasional evening or weekend shifts available during pre-planned district events
