The Inventory Coordinator supports the Inventory Operations Manager in overseeing diamond and product inventory, pricing accuracy, and production coordination across departments. This position is designed as a developmental role to learn all aspects of jewelry inventory, data entry, and operational flow. The coordinator ensures the integrity of product information, assists with daily operational processes, and provides reliable support to maintain smooth departmental operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory & Production Support
- Support receiving and tagging of new product inventory and ensure pricing data is accurate.
- Assist with periodic diamond cycle counts, certification tracking, and memo reconciliation.
- Help with physical inventory and seasonal activities such as JCK show prep and return processing.
Pricing & Data Management
Assist with creating and maintaining price sheets for luxury and non-luxury items.Perform math and logic checks to confirm pricing accuracy.Input verified pricing data into the system and maintain digital records.Support catalog and component detail updates for fashion and fine jewelry items.Cross Department Collaboration
Work closely with Diamond & Inventory Manager assisting when needed also production, diamond picking, and receiving teams to maintain workflow accuracy.Provide coverage for order processing, data corrections when needed.Participate in ad-hoc or time-sensitive projects as assigned.Systems and Tools
Operate the Jewels system for product tracking and job management.Use Excel for data analysis, audits, and reporting.Learn and apply jewelry-specific software tools as needed (e.g., laser engraving systems, design software).Qualifications
2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or inventory coordination (jewelry or luxury product experience preferred).Strong problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data systems; experience with ERP software preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to learn diamond and jewelry production processes.Manual dexterity required for handling small jewelry components.Visual acuity sufficient for detailed product inspection and data entry.Core Competencies
