What You’ll Do
Serve as a trusted point of contact for patients, providing friendly, professional support and ensuring they understand their accounts and financial responsibilities.
Contact patients by phone, email, or mail to collect payment for services rendered and resolve outstanding balances.
Review and analyze patient accounts receivable to identify unpaid claims or discrepancies.
Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve billing or payment issues quickly and accurately.
Educate patients on insurance coverage, available payment options, and billing processes.
Partner with the Insurance and Legal accounts receivable teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances using sound judgment and effective collection strategies.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records in all billing systems.
What You Bring
Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices.
Familiarity with business office procedures and computer systems.
Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centered approach.
Ability to operate office equipment and multi-line telephone systems.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
