Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Psychiatric Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 20 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Psych RN – Night Shift | Piedmont Macon Hospital, GA Shift : Nights, 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrs / week Contract Length : 20 weeks Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Position Overview Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience to provide direct care to patients with a range of psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnoses. Unit Details Unit Type : Inpatient Psych & Chemical Dependency Patient Ratios : 1 : 8 (Days / Nights / Weekends) Patient Population : Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census : ~16 Number of Rooms : 20 Charting System : Epic Floating : Within facility / scope and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed Call : None Weekend Requirement : Every Other Weekend Experience & Skills Required Experience : Minimum 2 years inpatient psych (HARD STOP – must have) Preferred : Trauma Level I / II or Community Hospital experience Certifications : BLS (Required) Skills : Management of anxiety, bipolar, depressive, and psychotic disorders Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders Substance use / chemical dependency Suicidal behavior and crisis intervention Trauma- and stressor-related disorders Physical hold and seclusion protocols Medication administration, BG monitoring, psychoeducation Facility Support Services IV Team, PT, Respiratory, Interpretation, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transport, Unit Secretary Schedule & Holidays RTO : Max 7 days (must be submitted with profile) Holidays : Travelers must work required holidays per policy 1–2 holidays in assignment : Must work all 3 holidays : Must work 2 of 3 No holiday RTO for 1–2 holidays Major Holidays : Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Day, New Year’s Eve / Day About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
