Overview

The Account Executive - Public Relations serves as a primary client contact and ensures a high-level of strategic thinking, productivity and efficiency on assigned accounts. This role performs all public relations functions including writing, media interaction, client liaison and day-to-day administrative activities.

As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to :

• Develop and write public relations plans and strategies, making proactive recommendations to clients.
• Prepare communication materials involved in the implementation of public relations programs for clients including : press releases, copy for newsletter articles, opinion editorials, and other media-related materials.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure deliverables are on time and on-budget.
• Handle special projects, new business assignments, and social / community involvement activities.
• Manage and / or prepare content and layouts for publications, such as brochures, newsletters, and magazines as assigned.
• Provide direction and organize photo and video shoots for publications, social media channels, presentations and other communications initiatives.
• Assist the team in crisis communication situations, as directed.

Compensation Range : $47,000-$54,000 commensurate with experience.
