Summer Intern – System Test / Validation Engineer, Hague Road Technical Center – Indianapolis, Indiana

As an Allegion System Test / Validation Engineer, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the System Test Engineering Competency. You will gain valuable experience in developing, implementing, and executing System Test Plans on New Products being developed, with extensive hands-on experience in a lab environment. Additional opportunities include learning how to implement and execute test automation using National Instruments Test Systems, Teststand, Labview and Python as part of testing electronic locking systems for both residential and commercial product portfolios.

What You Will Do :

• Gain experience with creating and executing System Test Plans within a lab environment.
• Gain experience with automation testing tools used for testing electrical-mechanical security products.
• Gain familiarity with test software languages such as Teststand and Python.
• Gain experience working with Test Engineering Peers both in the US and India.
• Participate in regular team meetings, including project teams and test competency meetings.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
