The Yavapai County Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer I or II (depending on experience) to join our team and grow with us in a rewarding public service career. Ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and professional experience in civil engineering - preferably in public works or infrastructure projects. Minimum Qualifications
Civil Engineer I minimum qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience :
Some professional work experiences in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
Additional Requirements :
Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and must possess an Engineer In-Training Certification within six (6) months of hire.
Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license.
Civil Engineer II minimum qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience :
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Civil Engineering or related field
An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.
Additional Requirements :
Must be registered in the State of Arizona as a Professional Engineer with proficiency in Civil Engineering.
Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license.
