LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota.

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Ensuring provider orders are maintained, chest tube insertions, titrating medications such as low dose pressors (if IMC), foley catheter insertion Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. EPIC Charting, Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps, Central Monitoring Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years Cardiology experience required – competency in central line cares, chest tubes, foleys, Trach cares, heparin gtts, insulin gtts, angiograms, post pacemakers, post TAVR procedures. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. BLS, ACLS - both must be AHA - required. ND or compact state RN license. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept. 34 bed unit : 28 of the beds are cardiac based medical floor with the remaining 6 as IMC patients. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. This varies from day shift to night shifts and also needing to account if an RN has an IMC pt. Most common ratios are 1 : 4, 1 : 5 (at times), 1 : 3 if IMC pt. Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

Must have 2 years Cardiology experience. \nEvery other weekend and holiday.\nBLS, ACLS - both must be AHA - required.\nND or compact state RN license.
