Administrative Services Assistant
The Agency's Mission is to promote the reliability of information that is used for guidance in financial transactions or for accounting for or assessing the financial status or performance of commercial, noncommercial, and governmental enterprises. The public interest requires that persons professing special competence in accountancy or offering assurance as to the reliability or fairness of presentation of such information shall have demonstrated their qualifications to do so, and that persons who have not demonstrated and maintained such qualifications not be permitted to represent themselves as having such special competence or to offer such assurance. The public interest further requires that the conduct of persons and firms certified, permitted or licensed as having special competence in accountancy be regulated in all aspects of their professional work, that a public authority competent to prescribe and assess the qualifications and to regulate the conduct of licensees be established, and that the use of titles that have a capacity or tendency to deceive the public as to the status or competence of the persons using such titles be prohibited.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION : Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties : This full-time position serves as the office receptionist, general clerical, and administrative assistant throughout the office, and manages the electronic data processing (EDP) activities of the agency related to CPA and firm registrants. The position also serves as a clerical assistant to the Executive Director and Deputy Director, and completes projects as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, secretarial, office clerical; assisting with annual CPA registration as needed; incoming and outgoing mail; reception; answering incoming telephone calls, call messages and forwarding, and screening office visitors. Additionally, the work involves the performance of functional work on computer systems, including word processing, maintaining database / file integrity, managing the data entry function of annual license renewals, generating appropriate forms and letters, and other related documents, as needed. Prepare lists of CPAs for year-end reports and statistics as directed. Retrieve information for reports or other assignments as assigned by supervisor(s). Respond to auditor questions as needed.
