As a Mobilization Technician at In-Place Machining, you'll be at the heart of our operations-responsible for selecting, assembling, testing, and preparing cutting-edge equipment for deployment across the globe. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our projects launch smoothly and safely, every time.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Select and organize equipment for mobilization
  • Assemble mechanical systems based on engineering layouts
  • Pack job boxes, skids, and tubs with precision
  • Use TRACE system to manage and track equipment
  • Document consumables and assign job numbers
  • Load / unload trucks and ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Provide feedback to improve tooling, processes, and programs
  • Redline prints and collaborate with Engineering
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • 2-year technical degree (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience with mechanical assemblies (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read prints
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and mobile apps
  • Experience with tooling and fixturing (preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Team player with strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
  • Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and use of hand tools
  • Work in a dynamic shop environment with moderate noise
  • Occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Certifications & Other Requirements

  • Valid driver's license (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • IPM Overhead Crane & Forklift Training (required)
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Ability to use mobile apps for time tracking and job management
