We are looking for a diligent Payroll Supervisor / Manager / Director to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry based in HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing a team of payroll staff.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the establishment and implementation of policies related to payroll advancements and garnishments
- Ensure compliance with current government regulations related to payroll processing
- Prepare and submit government reports as required
- Supervise the reconciliation of sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of payroll staff
- Manage the preparation of accruals related to payroll
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office Suites to perform accounting functions and maintain records
- Collaborate with C-Suite executives to discuss and strategize on payroll-related matters
- Implement and manage an automated payroll system to improve efficiency
- Handle any payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
- Experience in managing Accounting Functions
- Familiarity with C-Suite operations and communication
- Skills in Automated Payroll systems
- Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director in the Real Estate & Property industry
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws and best practices
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Relevant certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) would be advantageous.
