We're seeking an early-mid professional with aspirations of future leadership to manage journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and collaborating across business units and accounting teams.

This role supports Siemens Mobility North America and offers broad exposure to finance functions. Based in Alpharetta, GA or Sacramento, CA, you’ll report to the Head of Accounting and contribute to ongoing process and system improvements.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

As the POC General Ledger (G / L) Accountant, you will serve as a key liaison between the Siemens Mobility finance organization and business units, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting.

• Manage general ledger accounting and related account reconciliations
• Analyze project accounting data to ensure accurate financial statements
• Support the Head of Accounting in evaluating general ledger impacts on financials
• Prepare and present financial statement fluctuation reports to leadership
• Provide general ledger data for internal / external audits and divisional reviews
• Conduct detailed balance sheet reviews and deliver informative analysis
• Collaborate across all Siemens Mobility finance teams and act as a business interface
