Patient Scheduler - Central Scheduling - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the direction of the Patient Access / Central Scheduling Coordinator & Manager, Patient Access / Central Scheduling Representative- Level II, verifies orders, schedules, and registers, verifies insurance coverage and benefits, creates estimates, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due to the facility; Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications : 2 years general office experience with public interaction.

Preferred Qualifications : Coursework / Training : Courses in medical terminology. Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience. Medical setting experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
