The Shift Leader assists the store manager in operational duties to ensure the business is running efficiently and effectively and ensure staff performance aligns with company goals. Ensure daily objectives/tasks are completed and communicate any issues with upper management in a timely manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience.
• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, and anticipating customer needs.
• Utilizing downtime to be prepared and keeping the team on task.
• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance.
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales.
• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate and consistent manner.
• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures.
• Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.
• Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all opening, midday, and closing procedures.
• Must work one shift on the weekend.
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
