Due to rapid growth Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (Database Specialist) that has a passion for cloud concepts and system integration and cloud migrations that can support customer facing engagements along with several internal Oracle sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth.

We are looking for a Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect with expertise in the following specialty areas :

• Database data management Oracle polyglot Database GoldenGate data replication
• Analytics Data Lake solutions Big Data Hadoop - MapReduce Apache Spark
• Oracle AI Data Platform Unifying Data for Scalable Enterprise AI

The primary focus of a Solutions Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners prospects customers and internally to our sales force.

This is a hybrid role based in the Reston VA / Greater Washington DC area. The position typically requires working onsite at our office or client locations 34 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely 12 days per week depending on business needs.

Candidates must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret / Top-Secret Security Clearance to work with the US Federal government.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $113100 to $185100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70 / 30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
