Position Summary
The Wastewater Trade Foreman provides hands-on leadership for a crew of tradesmen and laborers on water and wastewater construction projects in the Northern VA region. This role is ideal for an experienced crew leader who can supervise daily operations, coordinate materials and equipment, enforce safety policies, and maintain high-quality standards while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to ACE’s high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations for a crew of tradesmen and laborers.
Ensure work is installed correctly, efficiently, and safely.
Coordinate materials, equipment, and jobsite setup.
Enforce OSHA regulations and ACE safety policies.
Monitor crew productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
Assist with jobsite setup and organization.
Maintain strong relationships with inspectors, subcontractors, and job staff.
Support the Superintendent in achieving project goals and timelines.
Mentor and develop crew members to enhance skills and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crew Leader or Trade Foreman on water, wastewater, or industrial construction projects.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a highly functional team.
Highly motivated, flexible, and committed to safety and excellence.
Successful completion of drug screen, physical, and criminal background check required.

Working Environment
Full-time, on active construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Routine use of standard construction tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and site equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs / ladders, and lift heavy loads.
Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands / arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
