As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Bessemer, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while building strong connections with those on site. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with company guidelines.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual findings.Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential security-related issues.Maintain detailed logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting with evacuations or other procedures as needed.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance.Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures to help to deter security-related risks in a tech and media environment.What We're Looking For :

Customer service experience is preferred.Experience with alarm panels is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Experience in loss prevention is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
