Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Location: Multiple Sites
Pay: $60+ per hour (DOE)
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Overnight (Flexible scheduling available)
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year as a licensed IR Technologist
Work Setting
Outpatient imaging centers
Surgery centers
Hospitals
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IR Technologist to assist in image-guided therapies and procedures. Strong technical, communication, and acute-care skills are essential.
Licensure & Certification Requirements
Applicants must hold all credentials for IR practice:
ARRT (R.T.(R)) with additional IR certification or documented IR experience
State Radiologic Technologist License
CPR/BLS certification
ACLS, if required by facility
Responsibilities
Assist interventional radiologists in minimally invasive procedures
Operate and maintain complex IR imaging equipment
Maintain strict aseptic and safety protocols
Monitor and support patients throughout procedures
Complete documentation and imaging reports accurately
