Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic pharmacy technician who is eager to learn and adapt to new technology. You will be working closely with our pharmacy team and clients to handle new prescription requests, transfers, refills, deliveries, and patient care coordination.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions (new prescriptions and transfers) in conjunction with PIC.
  • Answer incoming phone calls regarding prescriptions, deliveries, and patient care.
  • Work in collaboration with providers and their care team to provide the highest quality of care delivery by ensuring all medication requests are answered and processed promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate refills and deliveries through SwyftScripts platform.
  • Attend staff meetings and provide input regarding process improvement.
  • Utilize SwyftScripts technology and platform to identify best cost / value for patients.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Degree required
  • Certifications, licenses and registrations preferred
  • 2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • Preferred Skills

  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask.
