Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Location : Las Cruces, NM 88011 (New Mexico nursing jobs)

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM), Wednesday–Friday

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910

Call : Required (shared among OR nurses for 24 / 7 coverage)

Holidays : Required

Scrubs : Hospital laundered and provided

EMR : PICIS

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for New Mexico

Minimum 2 years of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience

BLS certification (required)

ACLS certification (preferred)

Must complete New Mexico fingerprinting process (required for all NM travel nurses)

Ability to work holidays and participate in call rotation

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Function as the circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the sterile field during surgical procedures

Coordinate surgical workflow and maintain accurate clinical documentation using PICIS EMR

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver high-quality patient care

Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as needed for the OR team

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and best practices for clinical support
