Description

Unique position available to assist individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities living in supportive and loving residential settings in Brooklyn, Queens, Lower East Side, Far Rockaway and Long Island as they attend various healthcare appointments. Responsibilities include driving and accompanying individuals to and from medical appointments, presenting medical conditions and concerns to the healthcare provider, and accurately reporting medical information from the healthcare provider back to the residential team. Good English communication skills a must. Valid NY or NJ driver’s license and willingness to drive 15-passenger van required.

Position includes a competitive benefits package including 403B retirement plan, paid time off (PTO) and for full time employees, health insurance.

Salary: $18.30 per hour
