Position Highlights
This position provides instructional support services to the Science Programs. Prepare laboratory sessions per faculty requirements. Coordinate usage of labs and equipment among faculty and students. Assist faculty with the preparation of laboratory activities.
Essential Functions
Set up and put away equipment and supplies for laboratory sessions.
Work with faculty to coordinate the laboratory activity schedule.
Recommend equipment and supply purchases related to the instructional program.
Keep laboratories, supplies, materials and equipment organized and ready for use.
Provide other forms of assistance to the science instructional program when needed.

Terms of Employment
This is part-time hourly position is bound by the WAC 357-04-045 provisions above and is scheduled to work varied hours (depending on lab schedule needs) approximately 15 to 17 hours per week. The pay rate is $18.00 - $18.00 per hour. A collective bargaining agreement exists and membership in the Washington Federation of State Employees or payment of a service fee may be required. TCC Part-time hourly and student employees including work study students, will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours work ed . Hourly non-student employees may be applicable for comprehensive health care benefits package for you and your dependents includes medical, dental and vision insurance. Life and long- term disability insurance plans and retirement benefits are also provided.
