Job descriptionUnderstanding of temporary / contract position Any planned time off during initial 3-week training Approximate distance from home to clinic Deliver patient-focused care in retail healthcare clinics (Minute Clinic) Support high-quality, accessible care while working as part of a collaborative clinical team Empowered to provide care with guidance, collaboration, and a "one store, one team" mindset Administer vaccinations and injections (influenza, COVID, TB, etc.) Obtain vital signs Provide emergency care in collaboration with providers Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout Assist with wait room management, reminder / outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and sensitive exam chaperoning Prepare clinic and waiting spaces for optimal patient experience Maintain documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Previous experience administering immunizations and injections Minimum of 1-year related healthcare experience Experience documenting in an EMR Ability to take vital signs Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED Pass FIT test and wear respirator mask when required Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room Experience with EPIC EMR Full, active, unrestricted LVN / LPN license in a U.S. state, territory, or DC Graduate of an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing 1 : 1 patient ratio for manageable workloads Work-life balance with structured tools, training, and resources Recognition for healthy workplace environments (ANCC Pathway to Excellence)
Job Title : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location : Overland Park, KS 66204
Duration : 4 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule : 32-40 hours / week, including every other weekend; 7-10 hour shifts; includes major holidays
Position Type : Full-time, contingent / temporary (conversion possible but not guaranteed)
