About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Business Development with a focus on fund administration and middle office services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business development efforts, particularly in the area of registered funds, and driving growth through strategic initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful client onboarding, engaging with C-level executives and industry influencers to expand networks, and representing the company at various events. The VP will also be expected to contribute to marketing strategies, maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, and travel as required to meet business development objectives.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 10-12 years in financial services, fintech, or fund administration. A strong network of fund managers, sponsors, and industry influencers is essential, as is proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce. The role requires advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, as well as the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and be adept at generating and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities, leading the response process for RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires, and ensuring a seamless transition of new business to servicing teams.
