Our Company
In 1980 the first American El Pollo Loco opened on Alvarado Street in Los Angeles, quickly becoming a destination for the best citrus-marinated, fire-grilled pollo in town. Over the past four decades, El Pollo Loco has grown into more than 490 restaurants across 7 states, becoming an L.A. mainstay and cultural benchmark along the way. Position Purpose
This role will work with members of the marketing team, agencies, and cross-functional partners, ensuring our campaigns are in service of our incredible fans, elevating our social content, continually refining our social strategy, and turning consumers into EPL brand advocates. The right candidate will know what makes great social content, and how to create it, how to engage and manage communities at scale, and how to elicit actions from consumers. You are as much a student of culture as you are the creator of it, constantly immersed in what's new across social and the internet, monitoring both to identify how it might benefit El Pollo Loco, the QSR industry, and culture. Lastly, you're escalating and / or amplifying real-time opportunities to create impactful content or experiences (your bias for action is second to none).

Education / Work Experience : Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or related experience with 3+ years of proven experience creating content and managing social media channels for comparable brand(s).
License / Certifications : Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
