Foreign Language Communications Specialist
As a Foreign Language Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, categorizing, translating, and summarizing foreign language communications from various locations. You will operate and oversee signals equipment used in signals intelligence operations.

Utilize linguistic skills to analyze and interpret foreign language communications
Operate and maintain signals equipment
Provide translations and summaries of foreign language communications
Requirements :
US citizenship is required
Aged 17-34 years old
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Meet tattoo guidelines
No major law violations
No medical concerns
Training and Certifications :
42 nationally recognized certifications available
10 weeks of basic training
5-20 weeks of advanced individual training
85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) for active duty personnel
101 ASVAB score : Skilled Technical (ST) to bypass DLAB requirement
36-64 weeks of education at the Defense Foreign Language Institute for non-fluent soldiers
