Cardiothoracic Surgeon Full-Time Opportunity Location : Florida Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient Multidisciplinary Team Program-Building Role Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a growing team as the second surgeon in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to both clinical care and helping expand the Cardiothoracic Surgery program. Key Responsibilities Perform a range of complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures Participate in inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic care Take part in shared call coverage ( days / month including 2 weekends) Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of providers Average daily patient volume : 20 Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination Support program development and emergency surgical coverage Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery (required) Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery (required) 6 years of post-training, relevant experience (required) Florida medical license or license in progress (required) Clean malpractice and license history Must live within 1 hour of facility and not work multiple jobs concurrently Not open to new grads, BE-only candidates, or APPs J-1 visa candidates accepted (H-1B not supported) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (based on experience and training; discussed during interviews) Sign-on bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance FSAs and HSA options Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance Retirement plan options CME allowance Loan repayment options available PSLF-eligible employer Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Career advancement and development opportunities Reimbursement for travel related to the interview process Certifications Required BLS ACLS DEA
