Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer Staff - Team Lead C-130 Letter Check

The selected candidate will supervise, direct, and coordinate C-130 Letter Check maintenance. Set workflow priorities, monitor parts, tools and equipment used in all aspects of C-130 Letter Check inspection process. Monitor personnel to ensure proper manning to complete daily activities. Perform aircraft impound official duties, ensure employees follow technical data and follow both AFOSH and OSHA regulations. Provide in-house technical support, become a liaison between Yulista and the customers. Provide ongoing communication between Fixed Wing, Production Operations Management team via weekly reports and staff meetings.

Demonstrated experience in managing organizational / intermediate level aircraft maintenance operations and support. The selected candidate may be required to carry out additional duties as assigned by Production Sr. Management. Supervise Letter Check maintenance, direct personnel, create work schedules, coordinate with customers on aircraft schedules, and mission requirements. Ensure personnel work safely in an efficient manner and adhere to AFI 21-101.

Basic Qualifications

• 20 years' aircraft maintenance experience.
• 15 years of C-130 maintenance experience.
• Previous USAF / USMC / USN 7 level or equivalent, previous production super, Letter Check dock experience.
• Prior AFSOC C-130 isochronal experience a must. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and provide technical guidance to workers. Must have experience with Air Force technical orders and publication / instructions, HAZMAT, TAS / TCMAX tool accountability system and supply system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Capable of working various shift hours to support customer schedule and mission requirements.
