Nurse Clerk
Responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organizing of information on a nursing unit; coordinating work within the unit; reporting pertinent information to ED team members; providers and nursing leadership as appropriate; and responding to inquiries and requests from nursing staff and physicians.
Nurse Clerks have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys and improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Education : High School or equivalent.
- Minimum Work Experience : No previous experience.
- Required Licenses / Certifications :
Completion of HMC Nursing clerk course as it is offered.
Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
