Opportunity :
Board Certified or Board Eligible - Internal Medicine (Hospitalist / Nocturnist)
Job Details :
- Full-time Nocturnist position with 7-on / 7-off schedule (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)
- Manage approximately 5-10 patients per night with comprehensive inpatient medical care
- Conduct thorough admissions from the emergency department and direct admissions from referring physicians
- Document clinical encounters in the Paragon EMR system
- Monitor and manage acute medical conditions including open ICU patients with 24 / 7 intensivist consultant support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care plans
- Arrange and coordinate discharge plans ensuring all necessary follow-up
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with the health system's mission
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Utilize evidence-based guidelines in all aspects of patient care
- New graduates who are Board Eligible within 1 year are accepted
- 1 year of hospitalist or nocturnist experience preferred, not required
- Must have or be willing to obtain New York medical license
- DEA certification required
- Clean malpractice and license history required
- Every other weekend as part of 7-on / 7-off rotation
- No on-call duties required
- Not accepting Locums or Visa candidates
- 1099 candidates not accepted
Compensation :
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
