Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment Location : Grinnell, IA 50112 (Iowa healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (October 27, 2025 – January 26, 2026) Schedule : Monday – Friday, 6 : 15 AM – 2 : 45 PM (8-hour shifts, 40 hours / week) On-Call : 3 weeknights per week (3 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM) & 1 weekend every 4th or 5th week (holiday rotation included) Unit : 4 beds 1 suite, average 10–15 surgical cases / day EMR : EPIC Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,190 - $2,350 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Iowa RN license or compact state eligibility (Registered Nurse jobs in Iowa) Minimum 2 years of recent experience in same day surgery and / or Operating Room (OR nurse experience required) Experience in both Operating Room (OR) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) required BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Proficiency with EPIC EMR Ability to float to pre-op, post-op, or PACU as needed First-time travel nurses accepted (must meet experience requirements) OR RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and quality throughout the perioperative process Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Assist with pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as needed Participate in on-call rotation, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays Accurately document all care in the EPIC EMR system Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Experience the best of Iowa nursing jobs in Grinnell—enjoy a supportive healthcare environment, scenic parks, and a vibrant arts scene while making a difference as a travel OR RN.
