POSITION : CAD Engineering & Design Instructor

COMPENSATION : Based on Jones College's salary structure for full-time employment

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The CAD Engineering & Design Instructor will provide classroom and lab-based instruction in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Engineering & Design Technology.

Instruction includes but is not limited to :

• CAD and Drafting Fundamentals - foundational knowledge of technical drawing, precision measurement, and introductory hand drafting.
• Autodesk Software - proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and Civil 3D.
• 3D Modeling & Printing - instruction in 3D design concepts and additive manufacturing.
• Engineering & Design Applications - preparation of technical drawings and models for mechanical, architectural, and civil projects.
• Professional Skills - emphasizing teamwork, project management, and technical problem-solving.
• Instructional preparation will include setting up and maintaining classrooms / laboratories; preparing lab materials and equipment; ordering supplies; and developing instructional handouts, lab protocols, and digital resources.
