Electricians Mates Needed For Shipyard Work

Electricians mates needed for shipyard work located in Newport News, VA. Pay up to $27.31 / hour plus $140 a day per diem paid weekly. Ability to read and interpret shipboard electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring tables. Skilled in deck electrical tasks including equipment mounting, cable installation, terminations, and hook-ups. Proficient with electrical test instruments (e.g., volt-ohm meters, clamp-on ammeters, insulation resistance testers). Experienced in using standard electrician hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and crimping tools. Physically capable of working in confined spaces, at heights, and performing tasks that require climbing, crawling, and bending.

This is a contract position based out of Norfolk, VA. The pay range for this position is $21.36 - $27.31 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
