Maintenance Technician

The Role : Maintains the onion shed packing lines and facilities to maximize packing operations and efficiency. Also responsible for auditing the condition of the equipment and facility and ensuring that repairs are performed to keep the product flowing and in compliance with food safety (GAP) and quality control specifications.

Location(s) : Hollister, CA; Yuma, AZ

Areas of Responsibility :

• Experience welding stainless steel and mild steel
• Ability to perform good oxygen / acetylene torch skills
• General knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic working systems
• Solid electrical understanding and troubleshooting skills of packing line equipment
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, and also be detail oriented
• Motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate good work habits of being a dependable, reliable, and punctual employee
• Ability to travel occasionally and as needed between harvesting regions
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
