- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Kalispel Casino Policies and Procedures.
 - Oversees cage functions during assigned shift, including main cage, and the vault.
 - Monitors and adjust staffing levels.
 - Reviews and coordinates work schedules and assigns duties to cage personnel to ensure efficient operation of all cage activities.
 - Oversees training of all cashiers to ensure adequately trained and competent cashiers.
 - Coaches others in an effort to correct substandard performance.
 - Vault Responsibilities
 - Ensures the highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner.
 - Ensure quality guest service while handling cage issues, common inquiries and guest disputes and / or complaints.
 - Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
 - Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit and asset to Kalispel Casino and encourages others to do the same.
 - Assist in the development of both short and long-term goals for the benefit of the department and the overall property
 - Evaluates, rewards and issues corrective action to Team Members.
 - Always uses proper skills ie; respect, patience, attentiveness, etc., when dealing with guests and Team Members.
 - Confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operations problems or explain procedure / internal control changes or practices.
 - Audits payroll exception reports
 - Assists in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations and ensures an adequate internal control system is in place.
 - Safeguards Kalispel Casino’s bankroll. Oversees operations of all ATM’s, Redemption Centers and Currency Recyclers on premises.
 - Ensures cage equipment is maintained and operational, and that supplies are ordered and available as needed.
 - Administers daily cash receipts and disbursements, verification of transactions, reviews variances, over prescribed limits and application of federal cash reporting requirements.
 - Verifies cashier transactions and cashier paperwork.
 - Prepares quarterly and annual reviews of cage cashiers.
 - Monitors cashier attendance and variances to ensure compliance with Kalispel Casino attendance and variance policies.
 - May be required to assist in conducting investigations into resolution of variances to ensure compliance with Kalispel Casino policies and Team Member’s integrity levels.
 - Oversees / prepares governmental forms such as; W-9, W-2G, 1042S and CTRC.
 - Approves chip cash outs equal to or exceeding of $1,200 per guest.
 - Approves VGD cash outs or promotional pay outs equal to or exceeding $1,200 per transaction.
 - Prepares and audits Title 31 paperwork to ensure compliance with government regulations.
 - Studies cage arrangements and work flow to determine expediency of installing new or improved equipments and / or procedures.
 - Ensures all work areas are organized and clean and products are properly stored and rotated.
 - Learns, comprehends and complies with all casino policies and procedures, Minimum Internal Control Standards, Gaming Regulations PCI and Title 31 requirements.
 - Ensures control / protection of casino assets.
 - Assists in the establishment of procedures for the effective implementation of the Slot Manager’s or Casino Operations Manager’s directives.
 - Assists in the preparation of complex reports, correspondence, charts, layouts, forms, handbooks, memoranda and other information and instructions.
 - Properly distribute and monitor necessary funds to other revenue outlets and ability to show appropriate records of all available funds at all times.
 - Required to trouble shoot cage equipment in the absence of IT, Slot Tech or other vendor assistance.
 - Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
 - Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
 - May be required to be a panelist for Internal Review Boards.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 5 – 10 team members in the Cage Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the casino’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education, Experience & Other Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Two years casino experience in a cage environment or two years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of both.Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License and a Class III Gaming License.Valid driver’s license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).Completion and passing of Title 31 and PCI.Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background check and pre-employment screening.Hiring Preference : The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is an Equal opportunity employer.
