Responsibilities Work in a hospital-wide float pool serving ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health units Float to adult and youth acute, addiction recovery, emergency, progressive care, critical care, and medical-surgical departments Patient ratios vary : ICU 1 : 1-2, Med / Surg 1 : 5-6, PCU 1 : 3-4, Behavioral Health 1 : 5-6 days / 1 : 10 overnights 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) with every other weekend required Unit assignment communicated prior to each shift; mid-shift floating may occur as needed Bed sizes range from 21 to 35 depending on assigned unit KBH / YA restraint boards and lifts used; training provided during onboarding Provide care for a diverse range of patient populations in various acute and behavioral health settings Regular ongoing training and orientation include Restraint C, MOAB class, and boundaries module during onboarding Flexible team environment requiring adaptability and strong collaboration skills Navy blue scrubs required Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment Requirements Active ID or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) NIHSS certification required Minimum of 3 years' experience in all of the following : ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health / Psych (adult acute, youth acute, addiction recovery) Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Experience with cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation required Department of Health & Welfare background fingerprinting required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632288.
