Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT / XRAY Technologist with ARRT credentials and BLS certification for a day shift position performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a diagnostic imaging department performing both CT and X-ray exams
  • Includes procedures such as X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy, with OR and C-arm work
  • May require assistance in other imaging modalities within scope of licensure and registry
  • Day shift schedule
  • Call, overtime, holiday, and weekend coverage may be required
  • Utilizes PACS and RIS / HIS electronic record systems
  • Responsible for quality and efficient completion of diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Adheres to radiation safety and ALARA standards
  • Provides patient education and maintains regulatory compliance
  • May be cross-trained into other imaging modalities including CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography
  • Performs equipment quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Assists with clerical duties, patient transport, and team training as needed
  • Dress code compliance is required
  • Patient confidentiality and effective communication are essential
  • Active participation in departmental and facility improvement activities expected

  • ARRT registration in Radiology (R) required
  • Current BLS certification required, or must obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • Ability to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and employee health meeting
  • License required if applicable
