Responsibilities Work within the Labor and Delivery unit at a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center 32 L&D beds with over 300 facility births per month Night shift schedule of 4x12 hours, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Patient ratios to be determined No on-call responsibilities Duties may include attending vaginal deliveries (VD), cesarean sections (C / S), D&Cs, PPTL, induction of labor (IOL), cervical ripening, observation of antepartum conditions, placental abnormalities, opioid-to-suboxone conversions, triage, fetal surveillance, IV hydration, cerclage procedures, and water births Required to float within clinical scope to meet facility needs Uses Epic charting system, OBIX and Stork modules Provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery, including high-acuity and complex cases Care team includes physicians, midwives, and nursing staff Orientation held bi-weekly on Mondays Initial scrubs provided by facility Free employee parking available Must be separated from previous employment with the health system for at least one year prior to returning as a traveler Holiday staffing requirements may vary by unit Modules are not required for this assignment Return-to-work policy restricts candidates with more than one DUI All requested time off must be submitted before signing Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application Minimum 2 years L&D experience, or 1 year if combined with Mother / Baby experience Epic EMR experience required Skills in peripheral IV starts and maintenance required Ability to work with a high-volume birth unit Must be fully vaccinated (booster not required) First-time travelers will be considered Local candidates within a 60-mile radius not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640024.
