What You Will Do

Manage and support HR Information Systems including Banner Imaging the Applicant Tracking System web content and forms.

Provide analytical support across all areas of the HR department.

Implement new systems extract and analyze data and prepare detailed worksheets for Banner uploads and other system updates.

Develop and produce reports using Argos e-Print and other reporting tools and assist with special projects.

Test and implement scheduled Banner system patches and upgrades for HR.

Collaborate with ITS staff and ensure documentation and departmental processes are updated accordingly.

Serve as the key contact for Banner HR representing the department on the Banner Operating Committee and HR Users Group and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full Banner system.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

1. Any one or any combination totaling 5 years (60 months) from the following categories :

coursework which includes Information Technology (IT) IT Management Programming IT Systems or a closely related discipline as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent :

• 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
• Associates Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
• 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
• Bachelors Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)

experience in IT-related functions such as hardware / software support programming network design network engineering IT systems integration or closely related field which includes supervisory or lead worker capacity.

Illinois Residency Requirement : Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.
