About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care.

License : Valid state nursing license required.

Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP required. AWHONN Advanced preferred.

Must-Have : Labor and postpartum experience required.

Description :

Labor and Delivery experience is mandatory.

Postpartum experience is essential.

Ratios of 1 : 3 will be maintained.

Orientation consists of 36 hours.

Previous charge experience is beneficial.

Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required.

Candidates must be willing to float between like units.

Travel experience is required.

Strong precepting skills are a plus.

Ability to manage anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and insulin drips is necessary.

Experience with C-section circulation and high-risk antepartum care is important.

Candidates should be proficient in maintaining central lines, sterile vaginal exams, and triaging obstetrical patients.

Knowledge of complications related to labor, including magnesium sulfate therapy, is necessary.

Flexibility to work during major holidays is required.

References from supervisors covering the last three years in a comparable specialty are necessary.

Willingness to comply with additional job requirements as needed.
