• THIS IS A TELE POSITION, REQUIRING TELE SKILLS - PLEASE READ BELOW
• Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, through UNA, only (with 2 max attempts). If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months for CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions.
• There is also a PASS / FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation. (Please confirm this experience on notes- updated cardiac gtts per Tracey 1.29.20 KR) Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS / Tele travlers DO NOT need prior travel experience, per Tracey Greene 6.9.2022- LMussmann)Are RNs required to titrate drips?YesCommon titratable & / or set rate dripsCardizem, Heparin, AmiodaroneCharge Nurse / House SupervisorED charge nurse. RNs read strips?Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips. No monitor tech in the ED.
