Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation / verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Day to day :

  • Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
  • Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications

    • Must Haves :

  • 1 or more years of experience working with tools (hand-held tools)
  • Willingness to work with beryllium or other chemical elements
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Education - HS diploma, GED

    • Plusses :

  • 1 year of experience working with a microscope
