East Coast Hearing & Balance helps people of all ages improve their hearing and balance so they can enjoy life to the fullest. With eight offices across North Carolina, the team is known for creating a welcoming, patient-first environment and providing personalized care using the latest technology. Every team member—clinical and administrative—plays an important role in helping patients feel supported and cared for from start to finish.

Position Overview

East Coast Hearing & Balance is looking for a friendly and organized Front Office Coordinator to join their team in Cary, NC.

If you enjoy helping people, keeping things running smoothly, and being the go-to person who ensures patients feel welcomed and cared for, this could be a great fit. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients—greeting them, managing schedules, and supporting the clinic team with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with a positive attitude and assist them throughout their visit.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to keep the office running efficiently.
  • Answer phones, handle messages, and provide information about services.
  • Verify insurance details and collect payments when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the clinical team with administrative tasks.
  • Help ensure the office stays organized and ready for each day’s appointments.

Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to create a great patient experience.

Requirements

  • Previous front office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred (medical office experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • A friendly, professional demeanor and genuine desire to help others.
