Our Perfect Match : We are looking to hire a Lawn & Garden Buyer to contribute to our Purchasing Team. The ideal candidate will contribute to maximizing company sales and profitability, thrive on company growth, and stay up-to-date on product knowledge. Job Type : Full-Time Exempt

Schedule : Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Location : L&M Supply Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MN

Targeted Pay Range : $60,000-$75,000 per year.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels based on sales history, demand, availability, etc.
• Research, investigate, and analyze new product sales opportunities that address market demand and support L&M's goals.
• Develop strategic plans to drive sales volume, profit margin, and inventory turns of assigned category lines.
• Research, analyze, and select product vendors.
• Develop merchandise advertising pricing guidelines and promotional pricing guidelines.
• Place and manage the placement of special orders based on customer requests.
• Attend buying shows and participate in vendor meetings.
