\n Great, medium sized traveler-friendly facility. Level II Trauma Center. Located at the geographic and economic hub for central and western Maine.\nCVICU needs 1 night shift Travel RN asap. Unit also called Single Stay Unit. It's called this because patients are here admitted through discharge for CABG's. \nThere's no "step down unit" and no transferring at all. They also have Cath Lab patients as well as some Tele overflow. Its a 16 bed unit and the nurse / patient ratio is totally dependent on the acuity of the patients. Obviously, immediate post-open heart patients are 1 : 1... tele patients could be 1 : 3-4. It's a beautiful unit. New building... new equipment, very nice.
