Operator - 700
We are seeking dedicated operators responsible for the cradle to grave manufacturing of magnet wire products. This role involves material handling, machine operation, and quality assurance, ensuring the production of high-quality wire products in a state-of-the-art, automated facility.
Responsibilities :
Handle raw materials to prepare for production.
Feed raw wire into the production line as required.
Understand specification sheets to set machines when needed.
Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring the HMI touchscreen to ensure production quality.
Pull in-process enamel samples and document all updates by hand.
Use overhead cranes to move finished spools of wire.
Operate a forklift to store finished products in the warehouse.
Essential Skills :
Ability to work safely and independently without consistent supervision.
Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
Comfortable with heights and using grated stairs.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
Open to being trained on a forklift.
Strong tenure at previous employers.
Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial.
Good soft skills and willingness to be trained.
Capability to multitask, maintain cleanliness, and perform well independently.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Work Environment :

Operators work on a 2 / 2 / 3 schedule, with shifts running from 8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM, ensuring a structured and predictable work routine.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
