About the Opportunity
Our client, a highly respected food and beverage manufacturer , is seeking a forward-thinking People Operations Manager to lead all aspects of human resources and organizational development. This is a strategic leadership role and the highest level within the HR function , responsible for shaping company culture, driving engagement, and aligning people strategy with overall business goals.
The ideal candidate will be a strong business partner to senior leadership—someone who can balance operational excellence with strategic insight. This individual will play a critical role in developing programs that enhance retention, performance, and the employee experience across all departments and levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the People Operations and HR function across all business units, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
- Design and implement HR strategies that support organizational growth, employee engagement, and culture alignment.
- Oversee all core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration .
- Develop and execute programs focused on leadership development, succession planning, and employee retention .
- Partner with department heads to ensure staffing levels, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives align with business needs.
- Champion a people-first culture , promoting communication, collaboration, and recognition throughout the organization.
- Evaluate and improve HR systems, policies, and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Lead employee relations with fairness, transparency, and a focus on problem solving and trust building.
- Analyze workforce data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Drive initiatives that reinforce diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR / SPHR / SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP) preferred.8+ years of progressive HR experience , with at least 3 years in a strategic or senior management role.Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and organizational design .Proven ability to influence and collaborate with executive-level stakeholders.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated success in building a positive, high-performance culture.Benefits
